The Madison Crossing Building was the first West Yellowstone School built in 1918.
For 30 years the town's only drug store, Yellowstone Apothecary, was located in the former high school gym, built in 1954. Since then, many changes have been made, newest addition being Yellowstone Beer Company, a new Taproom/Restaurant. The rest of the building is occupied by Madison Crossing Lounge, Montana Territorial Land Co., Madison Crossing Fitness, and Madison Apartments.
Madison Crossing Lounge is located in the former 1st grade classroom - as long time locals laughingly point out.
This restaurant and building are built on the memories that were made in it, and we hope to help you form those same kinds of memories with the quality and service provided.
